Crab Shanty Tours
Shanty tours available! Short tour of a crab shedding operation. You will be able to see how the soft crab operation works. Guided tour with a lifetime Smith Island Waterman, Captain Mark Kitching, to explain the process, from catching, shedding (sloughing), to shipping. Questions about the operation or life on Smith Island are welcomed! Tours are scheduled between 3-6pm. $5 per person
